Circos

Visual identity for the fifth edition of Sesc’s International Circus Festival, the most important circus event in Latin America.

The visual identity is based on the concept of movement. The graphic project creates visual dialogue between shapes and textures of Op art and the colorful memory of traditional circus, bringing a playful and joyful feeling.

The color scheme is all about vibration and high contrast. The shapes, patterns and the mirrored paper in the catalog reminds us of the curiosity and wonder brought by the circus.

The basis of movement is impermanence. So the typographic illustration varies in color, size and adapts to fit the media it is in.
